Crossing back into the U.S. on Hwy 97 was definitely different than going into Canada. The Agent had both of us come forward at the same time and positioned us about 6 feet in front of where the bumpers of the cars were, "passports please, helmets off, why where you in Canada and for how long, thank you and have a save ride". While we were putting our helmet back on, he pulled a car with trailer in behind us.
We had planned on going South on Hwy 97 to Okanogan and go West on Hwy 20. However a storm was coming in, so we went South to Wenatchee and West on 2. Beautiful ride and countryside! Had a few sprinkles and it was pretty chilly once we got to Skykomish. Into Monroe and then South on Hwy 203 to avoid Seattle and Tacoma. About an hour after we got to our friends place in Graham, the sky opened up and rained. Good timing...
