Today was going to be a "lay day" - 162 miles later!! There was a group of riders from Vancouver that we talked with as they were getting ready to head home and they suggested that we go out to Keremeos and Okanagan Falls and back. Well we did that plus going to Princeton.
Most of the way from Osoyoos to Keremeos was in a "convoy of cars" - very one out for a Sunday drive! We stopped at the Provincial Park near Stemwinder and had left-overs from last nights dinner for lunch. Got to Okanagan Falls and went along the East side of the lake and stopped at the Blasted Church Winery. They had some great tasting whites. Unfortunately they couldn't ship to the U.S. and we didn't have bag space....
We were very surprised with this area of British Columbia. We didn't expect to find so many orchards and vineyards - but then again why not!
