This was an easy day. Had breakfast, loaded up the bikes and headed off the hill to Cedar City.
Almost got a "performance award" from the Cedar Breaks Ranger: no other vehicles on the road, he came around a corner in opposite direction
and immediate flipped on his lights, I got off the throttle, the lights went off and he waved as he went by.
We stopped in St George to get gas and try to get an WIFI connection to make reservations in "lost wages".
Didn't find any "freebies" so off we go. We were very surprised by the terrain between the Utah/Arizona and Arizona/Nevada borders along I15.
Didn't take any pictures as we were having too much fun exercising the tires and wrists, and looking at the terrain.
We stopped in Mesquite at the Nevada Welcome Center, got room reservations at Treasure Island and tickets for the Phantom of the Opera.
The host at the visitor's center said to get front center balcony seats - "they're the best". He was right!
We got "dead center" first row, what a view and great performance. The first time was saw Phantom was in Boston and we were lucky to see the stage.
This was a very enjoyable evening! Anyway back to the trip....
Left Mesquite "slabbing it" to Treasure Island - we weren't the fastest but for sure not the slowest!! The FJR and V-Star 1300 just hummed.
