Grand Teton National Park

We spent 3 night total in this area. One night in Jackson, WY and 2 nights at a guest ranch east of Moran Junction. This picture is from a raft floating down the Snake River after a "country BBQ". The wetest day of the whole trip - sprinkled in the morning and thunder showers the afternoon.

Yellowstone National Park

Definitely a "go back to". Spend 4 night total in the area - 2 in Grand Village in Yellowstone, 1 in Cooke City, Mt and 1 in Gardiner, MT

Beartooth Pass, MT
|

We rode from Cooke City over Beartooth Pass to Red Lodge, MT and then back over Beartooth Pass to end up in Gardiner, MT for the night. South to North is the more interesting side of the mountain, continuously climbing, nice switch backs, and nice views. The Northern side is more vertical and "just steep" cliffs. Well worth the time. We need to ride the Chief Joseph Highway.

Catherine had never been to Burney Falls and I'd not been there since elementary school - too many years ago. As pretty as I remember it!

These pictures were take the first week of August and there is ice on the lake just behind the bikes. Again Roy'd not been here to since elementary school and climbing to the top.
